The subject of the investigation is the constitutional jurisdiction and constitutional responsibility and its types in the aspect of public power in Ukraine. Ways of presenting the concept: historical, heuristic and axiomatic. Scientific novelty of the obtained results is to solve a scientific problem - the development on the basis of the system of axioms, in particular the concepts of law, rights and norms that collectively define the jurisdiction with blurred limits and its types, the general notion and concept of responsibility as well as its two-aspect (positive and negative, associated with vague internal conversion) understanding and type classification, in particular individual, collective, solidary, subsidiary, institutional, etc., where responsibility is defined as functioning or function of competence - the ratio of expertise and competence in the transverse plane of its operation - time (functional) competence plane. Within the solution of the scientific problem for the first time in the work competence concept of constitutional law and constitutional responsibility and criteria of their type classification were developed; features of constitutional, in particular individual, collective, solidary, subsidiary, institutional, etc., the responsibility of the President, Parliament, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and other collegiate bodies and the sole public authority were set; institute of competence constitutional legal liability in the aspect of a new doctrine of the constitution of "responsible republic", as well as tools for constructing models of public power and its types were proposed. The conducted research, conclusions that were made according to their results develop a basis: for the further deep scientific study of the responsibility as a social phenomenon in the system of public power and the development of the general concept of liability in the casual relationship with sanctions; for the development of recommendations regarding the content of regulations on the status, in particular competence and responsibility of institutions of public power.
