Subject of investigation - grological environment within the western region of Ukraine. The main goal of the work - carring out scientific-substantiated methods of evaluation of the grological environment with the aim of pick out the places for secure storage of toxic waste products. Methods of investigations - system analysis, compare-geological analysis, ecologic-geological analysis and evaluation. The methods of the geological environment evaluation for determining underground reservoirs which are applicable for storage of toxic waste products have been elaborated. The hydrogeological and hydrochemical parameters of the main water-bearing horizons of the Precarpathian front depression and Lviv paleozoic depression have been concretized. The forecast evaluations of the geochemical parameters of geological environment state due to the impacts of waste storages have been developed. The general evaluation of the applicability of the bowels in western region of Ukraine for waste products storage as well as zoning of the geological environment by the applicability for waste products poligons have been worked out. The results of the work are the base for scientifically substantiated chois of the locations for secure waste products storage. It provides ecological safety as well as positive social effects. Economical effect consists in rise of investment attractivity of the territory and additional job places. The results can be smplemented in the departments of State Enterprise "Zakhidukrgeologia".
