The structure of these samples was investigated using the scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) technology. The computer software which allows treating the images, obtained via SEM, calculating the structure parameters and fractal dimension of the studied objects was developed. The luminescence spectra of CdI2 layered crystals doped of 0,1% and 0,01% of cadmium and absorption spectra of CdBr2-Ag and CdBr2-Cu were investigated. The computer programs for absorption and scattering spectra simulation were developed. The nano-phases parameters were calculated. The mechanisms of ionic processes in superionic's grains and intergrains boundary was investigated. The parameters of those processes were obtained via comparison of electroconductivity experimental and calculated data. Transmission spectra of cadmium iodide crystals embedding metallic clusters have been investigated. Several bands peaked at 500-700 and 1000-1100 cm-1 were identified. The spectral positions of these bands are temperature independent within the range of performed measurements (10-300 K) and do not depend on the nature of metallic inclusions as well. The bads are ascribed to surface phonon modes of metallic clusters. The comprehensive IR studiy of Ag2CdI4 and Ag2HgI4 superionics has been carried out. On the base of measured IR reflectivity optical constants of these materials were calculated for FIR frequency range. It has been demonstrated that optical parameters are related to the fractal dimension of the porous superionic structure.
