Mercury chloride caused the most toxic effect almost on all cells. Heavy metals caused membrane damage to erythrocytes in the following order Hg>Cd>Pb>Mn. The biggest structural conformation of human blood protein (albumin, immunoglobulin, interferon) was caused by lead acetate, the smallest - by manganese sulfate. MALDI-Tof mass-spectrometry data showed that metal ions bind to IgG and influenced ion-forming processes in immunoglobulin-metal system. The highest binding activity was established for manganese ion, the lowest - for lead, which can be explained by less affinity of the latter to sulfhydryl groups. All metals in vitro caused hypocoagulation changes in human plasma. Experiments on Infusoria Tetrahymena pyriformis W. Revealed the biggest toxicity of mercury chloride and cadmium sulfate. Comparison of LC50 to Infusoria of these metals showed high correlation with LD50 (rats). Therefore, chosen human and animals cell cultures and molecular structures (blood protein) allow evaluating cytotoxic properties in short time and calculating the starting dose of xenobiotic for in vivo experiments and thus reduce the number of animals in toxicological experiment.
