Studied was the influence of the conditions of chemical deposition on the morphology, size and the degree of agglomeration for the precursors and nanopowders. The technological conditions of the obtaining of high-density compacts with uniform distribution of pores were optimized, and the optical ceramics Y3Al5O12 with a density of 99.9%, optical transmission coefficient of 60% and 10-3- mcm grain size was prepared by the method of vacuum sintering.
