For the first time the existence of the compound PbNd4(MoO4)7 is established, its structure, as well as the temperature and character of melting are determined. New optical single crystals PbNd(MoO4)7 with a diameter up to 20 mm and a length up to 40 mm are grown, and their spectral and kinetic characteristics are investigated.
