Discretization of transport equations for mass, pulse and heat on basis of the control volume method. Development of a solution algorithm of a differential algebraic equations system and calculation examples for complex flows with recirculation and vortex generation. popup.stage_title Head Nikiforovich Eugene, Registration Date 24-02-2010 Organization The Institute of Hydromechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The work aims at the research of a flow structure and transport processes in thermodynamically non-equilibrium fluids. The work goal and tasks are fundamental investigations of mechanisms of mass and energy transfer processes and their optimization in thermodynamically non-equilibrium fluids on basis of continuum mechanics. Investigations are carried out using mathematical modeling, numerical simulation and experiments. A new effective method is developed for a numerical solution of a system of non-stationary Navier-Stokes equations for incompressible fluids in velocity-pressure variables. The method is tested for calculations of flows with recirculation and vortex generation.
