The work goal and tasks are fundamental investigations of mechanisms of mass and energy transfer processes and their optimization in thermodynamically non-equilibrium fluids on basis of continuum mechanics. Investigations are carried out using mathematical modeling, numerical simulation and experiments. . A new aerodynamic complex for interdisciplinary research is designed, manufactured and tested. It includes a wind-tunnel, measurement systems to study aerodynamic forces and pressure distribution around a model as well as systems of microwave radiation and protection. The complex is assigned to investigate possibilities to improve aerodynamic characteristics of a moving body using active flow control based on the application of regularly spaced localized plasma sources initiated with microwave radiation.
