Association of microorganisms which can simultaneously carry out degradation of organic compounds (with potato as substrate) and perform hydrogen production has been received. The association performed total potato destruction in 5-7 days. A maximum hydrogen production was obtaining in two days. Hydrogen volume content was estimated to be 75% of the total biogas. Hungate technique was used for isolation of colonies of microorganisms which perform converting of starch and H2 synthesis.
