The analysis of results of practical inspections, conducted in E.O.Paton Electric Welding Institute, testifies that during exploitation of technological equipment made from nizkouglerodistykh and nizkolegirovannykh staley can arise up the maximum state, related to formation of local by volume defects, realization of which not always results in the necessity of stopping of functioning of object and its removal from exploitation. For such state it is important to to save the capacity of construction. However further exploitation of object is to the promoted risk of origin of refuses. Under such circumstances there is a necessity of conducting of the periodic monitoring of the damaged areas of object and calculations on durability taking into account the presence of defects. During implementation of the real project the methods of estimation of influence are developed on the remaining resource of technological equipment (vessels and vehicles, main and technological pipelines) of the indicated typical operating damages, not findings a reflection to the present tense in domestic ND. For the ground of methods of estimation of defects of the indicated types model experiments, and also series of numeral calculations of MKE, are conducted on the basis of the developed models. The special attention in work is spared the methods of discovery and monitoring of damages, because unreliable initial information, got with the use of methods of nondestroyed control or wrong interpretation leads to unjustified repairs or replacements of equipment, from one side, or unfavorable consequences, up to catastrophic, with other.
