Fungicide activity of a few substances proved to be more effective than that of the commercial preparation difluсan. The in silico investigation of the synthesized compounds involved allowed to envisage the possible mechanism of their action concerning the inhibition of two cellular targets, C. albicans DNA-dependent RNA polymerase and dihydrofolate reductase. Based on three substances of the PCA the ointment compositions and solid dosage forms for local treatment of candidiasis were proposed.
