The attention has been focused on the historical aspects of becoming and development of insurance in Ukraine, on interrelation and inherence of such economic categories as taxation and insurance. It has been investigated by the authors depending on approach of accident, which has caused the damage (expenses), classification of risks and anti-recessionary activity have been analyzed which is basically provided with insurance. The influence of changes in the legislation of Ukraine on insurance on the basis of the statuary acts have been researched. As the results of the work the methods of the forensic-economic examination connected with the taxation of economic operations with insurance have been created.
