The aim of the research is to investigate the process of Ukraine's joining the Protocol and define its directions. Analysis of international conventions and agreements and Ukrainian legislation regarding goods transportation by road, first of all responsibility of international carrier, was carried out. Necessity of Ukraine's participation in the Protocol to the CMR was proved. A set of documents for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was developed. The report is intended for specialists concerned with the problem of Ukraine's participation in multilateral conventions and agreements as well as the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine.
