Object of research is the process of the Ukrainian industrial complex highly technological branches development in the conditions of globalisation. Research objective - working out of methodological principles, scientifically and practical recommendations on formation of highly technological branches development strategy at the industrial complex of Ukraine in a context of economic globalisation processes. Research methods - comparison, analysis, synthesis, economic and mathematics modelling. Methodical positions on working out and realisation of highly technological branch development strategy, which consider necessity formation of the complex target program on increase of the goods and services competitiveness , and also strengthenings of the branch competitive advantages in the market are improved. Theoretical positions on highly technological branch development strategy formation principles system determination are developed, and also the principle of economic efficiency is in addition offered. Methodical positions on organizational maintenance of the state support of the aviation industry sustainable development which are directed on stage-by-stage consolidation of the enterprises of an aviation complex are developed, namely: the first stage - creation of a consortium which will allow to simplify and reduce terms of formation of this association; the second stage - concern formation as more progressive organizational andl egal form of managing; the third stage - holding creation. The methodical approach by definition of the aircraft engineering production competitiveness which considers models of behaviour of passengers (consumers), the airports (subjects of an infrastructure) and air carriers (эксплуа-тантов) is proved. Results of scientific researches are introduced in work of Central Administrative Board of Economy and Central Administrative Board of the Industry, Transport and Communication of the Kharkov Regional State Administration (the certificate № 02-5/1794 from 11.12.2009 and certificate № 04-08/904 from 04.06.2009, and also National Council on Security and Defence of Ukraine (the certificate № 6/8-2278-613 from 07.02.2009). Look-ahead offers on perspective directions of research consist in the further development of highly technological branches of the industrial complex of Ukraine, and, in particular, the aviation industry on the state support basis of its constant development and aircraft engineering production competitiveness increase.
