Methods of modeling, identification, and optimization of heat and mass exchange processes, improving thermal state of power, electronics, industrial and various technological objects are developed and also extending the ideas of investigated objects and processes. In the result of improving methodology of solving multidimensional non-linear, non-stationary direct and inverse problems, the new methods are proposed for identification time-dependent boundary conditions, nonlinear depentanizer of power of internal heat source from temperature and also the position of unknown boundary of investigated object. Method of joint problem solving of heat transfer by biphase heat transfer fluid and skeleton of capillary porous structure is developed. Temperature dependences of heat conductivity of a whole series of new ceramic heat-insulating materials are identified. Economy modes of powerful turbines are proposed, conducive to more economy operation of power units and prolongation of their life. Recommendations are formed for application of heat pump engineering for modernization of heating systems and optimum utilization of overflow heat of the process. New chain-wire heat exchangers are developed which have in comparison with existing ones high heating efficiency. The obtained results can be applied in different fields of science and engineering for modeling, identification, and optimization of heat processes and for developing energy-saving technologies.
