Models and methods of the theory of vibrations, thermo-mechanics, electrodynamics, and mechanics of brittle failure are used. Experimental investigation of vibrations are executed with application of the created methodical and apparatus maintenance, and theoretical investigation are based on the numerical solution of three-dimensional initial-boundary value problems. New data about a thermo-stressed state, damageability, crack resistance and oscillations in turbine sets are obtained. Results of investigation are used for diagnostic of the technical state and assessment of wear of life of turbomachines that inereases safety and efficiency of operation.
