Interrelation between basicity and nucleophilicity of oximate group in FD was first established, with the prospects for designing the purpose-directed detergents. Reactivity of comprehensive oxidation-nucleophilic systems in water, in the presence of detergents, and in microemulsions has been studied. Cetyltrimethylammonium dibromobromate was found to be a unique reactant which forms micelles and oxidation-nucleophilic couple BrO-/HOBr, and the most efficient compound in decomposition of OPC, phenols, etc. It has been shown that the "green" systems hydrogen-peroxide/activator provide fast and irreversible decomposition of a variety of ecotoxicants.
