Development of forming method and sintering of multicomponent assembling of fuel cell component parts. popup.stage_title Head Konstantinova Tatyana Yevgenivna, Registration Date 23-04-2010 Organization A.A. Galkin Physics and Engineering Institute of National Academy of Science of the Ukraine popup.description2 The influence of the additional alloying of the base system ZrO2 - Y2O3 by the ions of Fe, Cr, Ce and other on conductivity, physical-mechanical properties and structure of electrolyte of fuel cell was studied. The influence of chemical composition on the sintering processes of ceramics also was investigated. It is shown that the additional alloying of the system of ZrO2-Y2O3 by the indicated oxides causes substantial change of powders characteristics and ceramics properties. The additional alloying of the system of ZrO2-Y2O3 by Fe2O3 and CeO2 results in the decreasing the sintering temperature. Introduction of additional dopants, results in the substantial increase of density and strength of ceramics. Introduction of additional CeO2 dopant to the base system results in decreasing the activation energy of ionic conductivity, both on grains volume and boundaries, and Fe2O3,Cr2O3 dopants result in the insignificant decreasing the activation energy of ionic conductivity only on the grains boundaries.
