Development of practical recommendations in relation to perfection of composition and structure of labour potential of aquicultural complex of Ukraine is the aim of research. The methods of research: scientific (analysis, synthesis, analogy, induction, deduction, specification, comparison) and special (method of scientific abstraction, grouping). Theoretical and practical results, novelty: the row of indexes is offered for the evaluation of efficiency of the use of labour potential; the use of labour potential of water economy complex is analysed from the government special purpose programs' point of view; recommendations are worked out in relation to the increase of efficiency of the use of labour potential. The offered list of indexes can be used both for separate water economy enterprises and organizations and for water economy complex in the whole.
