Research methods were collection, analysis, systematization and scientific reworking operation of geological, geophysical, metallogenic, cartographic and different information about geological structure of Ukraine and its component regions. Published and fund literature, materials from archives about geological survey, prospecting and thematic works have been under study. Works have been executed by research teams which were composed of leading experts from UkrSGRI and its divisions, NASU and Department of Education and Science institutes. Research results of work are three prepared volumes of monographic edition "Geology of Ukraine" (volume 1.
