The research object of science research work is a social-economic mechanism of functioning of commodity market of products of stock-raising in Kharkov region. Research methods are deduction and traduction, marketing researches (analysis of documents, supervision, questioning), economical-mathematics, end economical statistical methods, statistical methods of analysis. It is reveal on the base of complex marketing research, that the market of stock-raising products of Kharkov region is characterized as a crisis situation. The principal reasons of this situation are negative tendencies in the agro industrial complex of the region. As a result there is a deficit of high-quality dairy and meat products, and also low level of population solvency. Negative processes at the market of stock-raising products has become a threat for food safety in the region. So the level of consumption of meat and dairy products are substantially below than rational norms of alimentation, set by MOZ of Ukraine. Besides there is a high level of dependence on meat products. The results of prognostication of consumption of meat and dairy products proves that there are no rapid positive changes at the market. On condition of improvement of social-economic situation and standard of population living in the region the consumption of meat products will attain a physiological norm not early than 2017-2018, dairy products - not early than 2020. For stabilization of stock-raising products market and forestalling of the further worsening of market situation it is necessary to develop and introduce at regional level the founded strategy of development of all of constituents of infrastructure at the stock-raising products market, the program of user market development, carefully thought out social-economic policy.
