Revealing the influence of polymer matrix on the vibrational and optical spectra of the embedded semiconductor NPs. popup.stage_title Head Dzhagan Volodymyr Mykolayovych, Кандидат фізико-математичних наук Registration Date 19-11-2010 Organization V.Ye. In aparticular, he following have been established. The surface modification of the NPs with certain sorts of molecules has a significant influence onto the phonon spectrum of the colloidal NPs and the electron-phonon coupling in them. In particular, the ligand exchange of the initial oleic acid molecules for the pyridine ones (which has a direct application significance due to their charge transport properties) the noticeable changes in the phonon spectrum of the NPs are observed. These changes evidences about a surface structural disorder and weakening of the electron-optical phonon coupling induced by the ligand exchange.
