Lashkaryov Institute of Semiconductor Physics of NAS of Ukraine, Dzhagan Volodymyr Mykolayovych popup.description2 In this work, optical and microscopic methods of characterization were employed to study the nanoparticles made of semiconductors A2B6 synthesized by colloidal chemistry methods, in colloidal solutions, polymer films and composites with metal NPs. By comparing experimental data obtained by Raman spectroscopy of optical phonons with data relevant theoretical models, the factors responsible for the effect of spatial confinement of phonon excitations in semiconductor nanostructures are studied. As a result of Raman spectroscopy and optical absorption investigation of composites of semiconductor and metal colloidal NPs a possibility is found of the phonon Raman amplification, whith the amplification efficiency being significantly greater in the case of silver, compared to gold NPs.
