Philosophy of "the Silver Age" in Russia and Ukraine within European context (the latest studies) popup.stage_title Head Sukhodub Tetyana D., Registration Date 13-12-2010 Organization Center of arts Education of a National academy of sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The subject of inquiry. The phenomenon of Silver Age philosophy. The objectives. To prove the diversity of philosophical ideas of Silver Age, as well as the link and discrepancies between this trend and European philosophy; to highlight the place and role of Silver Age's intellectual legacy for developing modern philosophical ideas. Research results. The culture and philosophy of Silver Age constitute a powerful resource for developing modern Ukrainian and Russian philosophy. Historical-philosophical analysis of the culture and philosophy of Silver Age overcomes the narrow understanding of the trend as solely religious and proves that the trend has a powerful intellectual potential nowadays. Namely, it constitutes the grounds for evolving the culture of a social dialogue, an "integral" (tolerant) world outlook, and a new communicative type of rationality. Assumptions: Based on the well-known and new recourses considering the phenomenon of Silver Age, the research reviewed the complexity of Ukrainian and Russian philosophical ideas of the pre-revolutionary and post-revolutionary period. The revision allows to discover the specificity of the Eastern-European and Western-European philosophical traditions, to display the philosophy of Silver Age in its integrity, to illustrate the evolving ideas of dialogue, communicative rationality, and the grounds for critical thinking. The published materials will contribute to deep understanding of the philosophic culture content of Silver Age. They can serve as a basis for further research, as well as for designing general and special courses on "History of Philosophy", "Theory of Culture", "Study of Art", "Religious, Political and Law Trends in XX Century" at higher school and for undergraduate students attending post-diploma educational courses. Key words: Philosophy of Silver Age, Russian and Ukrainian philosophy, modern historical and philosophical researches in Russia and Ukraine.
