Aim of the work: adoption of the modern International and European standards on the safety problems as the national standards having the degree of conformity "identical" (IDT) by the method of the identical translation from English into Russian with the use of the reversibility principle. The currency of fulfilment of the work is determined by lack of the harmonized standards that regulate the modern technical requirements to the mine conveyor belts in the Ukraine, their test methods and fire safety requirements, as well principles and methods of estimation of the toxic hazard under conditions of the fire. The adoption of the national standards will improve the technical state and labour safety during operation of the conveyor belts in the coal mines of the Ukraine, will allow harmonizing the fire safety requirements and requirements to preservation of health and life of the working people according to the international documents currently in force, improving the quality and competitiveness of domestic products. The results of the work will be implemented at the enterprises and in the organizations of the Ministry of the coal industry (Minugleprom) through adoption of the national standards worked out.
