Aim of the work: substantiation and choice of the scheme and creation of the re-donning station with autonomous air supply, reserve self-rescuers, acoustic and warning lights signalling system of the location of the station in a mine working. Method of investigation: laboratory tests of the station on the test bench that simulates the external breathing of a man, investigations in climatic chambers and on mechanical test benches, investigation of the breathing conditions of the people under laboratory and mine conditions by various loads. Investigation results and their novelty: as a result of the investigations carried out scheme of the air supply system and its principal parameters, oxygen feed source, dimensions and scheme of a regenerative cartridge, amount of the product containing oxygen and number of air ducts that guarantee the necessary duration of the station and the comfort of placement of the people around it are chosen. The novelty of the work are use of the regenerative cartridge, chemical oxygen type, and availability of two breathing bags in the station of re-donning the self-rescuers what guarantees the safety of the people donned in the station of re-donning the self-rescuers and decreases the breathing resistance. Prognosis of development of the manufacturing object: working-out and serial production of the stations for fitting-out the mines of the branch. The adoption of the stations in the mines allows improving the labour safety of the mine workers considerably owing to possibility of the use of the reserve self-rescuers, if necessary, and opportunity of waiting for help in the zone of the station.
