SUMMARY. Research work report includes 32 pages, 17 tables, 5 figures, 9 photographs, 12 references. Object of research - sheep, skin, hair follicles and wool. Research work report discloses the results of the study on the specifics of melanogenesis in sheep with colored hair. For the first time the localization of tyrosinase and melanin in the skin and its wool-generating parts is explicated on example of Carpathian sheep livestock with naturally colored hair. The research work establishes the connection between melanogenesis and its key enzyme tyrosinase in wool with accumulated melanin pigments, its growth, morphological structure and physicochemical properties. The effect of paratypic factors on tyrosinase activity in the skin of sheep with colored hair is researched as well as keratosis ratio, melanin content, tyrosinase content, cystine content, amino sugar content, nitrogen and sulfur content in colored wool. The work also researches how strength and length of fibers depend on these factors. During the research period the new information about the effect of alimentary factors (especially of mineral elements such as copper, sulfur and iodine) and tyrosinase on skin melanogenesis and wool formation was obtained. The research work clarifies the influence of mountain-valley grazing keeping of sheep on tyrosinase activity in the skin, the content of melanin and other components in wool, its structural composition and physical parameters. Research novelty lies in mastering of new research method of localization of tyrosinase and determination of its general activity in the skin. KEY WORDS: TYROSINASE, MELANIN, SKIN, MELANOGENESIS, CYSTINE, SHEEP, HAIR FOLLICLES, WOOL. Product Description popup.authors Мартищук Микола Васильович popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
