Object of research - selection material (seeds of individual plants with free pollination and self-pollination, seeds of plant families, variety numbers and varieties) Purpose of research - the creation of winter rapeseed variety with "00", "000", "+0" quality types. Method of research - individual-family selection, hybridization (pedigree), biochemical analysis. The new varieties of winter rapeseed Dembo and Dema as well as 10 new variety numbers were created and are currently tested for production. Crop capacity of these varieties exceeds the standard level by 6-10 cwt./ha. Two new trends in selection of winter rapeseed of type "00" were commenced: the creation of sterile lines and high-oil varieties. The results of application of two different methods for creating type "+0" winter rapeseed are described. Out of populations with high erucic acid content (49%) and medium glucosinolates content (25 mCi/g) a new variety of rapeseed was created with 57.4% erucic acid content and 16.3 mCi/g glucosinolates content. The seeds of the new variety have been reproduced and the application documents for State variety tasting are being prepared. A new variety number with 60-61% erucic acid content and 9.4 mCi/g glucosinolates content was also created. Research work establishes the character of fission depending on erucic acid content and glucosinolates content in hybrid seeds (F2, F3, F4). A genotype with erucic acid content in oil 44-47% and glucosinolates content in seeds 10.4-17.2 mCi/g is distinguished. 10 hybrid numbers of 2 crossing combinations were researched and F4 and F5 seeds of 413 individual plants were received. The analysis of first plants of number 33 (F4) led to the detection of the number with erucic acid content 52.9%, which affirms the purpose of using hybridization method (00 x + 0). Research materials are currently being analyzed. The first number of type "000" spring rapeseed with yellow seeds (90-100%) was created. 300 g of its seeds and 270 g of seeds with yellow content over 90% were obtained.
