Research work report is composed of the following parts: introduction, program, methods of research, results of research, conclusion and references. "Base and feature collections of Brassicaceae oil crops" During the reporting period of 2001-2005 536 variety specimen were studied, including 215 varieties of winter crucifers and 322 of spring crucifers. The complex research of available genetic material made it possible to detect important features of winter and spring crucifers. 439 Brassicaceae seed varieties were cosigned to National Depository during the period. 120 seed varieties were passed over to research institutions. During the research period were discovered seed varieties with valuable economical features concerning crop capacity, oil content, glucosinolates content and fatty acids content. The program of research work under the state contract is fully accomplished. The following research should focus on the study of new seed varieties that are added to the laboratory collection annually. New base and feature collections should be formed and studied.
