In connection with the decisions taken in the future Stockholm Convention Conference of Parties, in particular the Fourth Geneva meeting 4-8 May 2009, there was need for making appropriate adjustments to the plan. The aim is to make adjustments to the developed "National implementation in Ukraine of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (NSW)" in light of decisions taken by the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention in the period from 2006 to 2009. The research object is the measures of which provide the "National Plan for implementation in Ukraine Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (NSW). The purpose of the work includes: - Analysis of decisions taken by the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention "National Plan for implementation in Ukraine of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (NSW) in the period from 2006 to 2009; - Clarified the availability of persistent organic pollutants in bodies in Ukraine; - Adjusted to draft "National Plan for implementation in Ukraine of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (NSW)" on the decisions taken by the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention, as well as reviews and comments of central executive bodies of Ukraine.
