In connection with the decisions taken in the future Stockholm Convention Conference of Parties, in particular the Fourth Geneva meeting 4-8 May 2009, there was need for making appropriate adjustments to the plan. The aim is to update sections 3.4 and 5 of the National Plan of Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants and the customer's materials and preparation of registration statements in the completion of the Project № GF/2732-03 4668 "Ensuring measures to develop a national plan on implementation of Ukraine in Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants "in light of decisions taken by the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention in the period from 2006 to 2009. The research object is the measures of which provide the "National Plan for implementation in Ukraine Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (NSW). The purpose of the work includes: - Issuance of summaries of reviews on the first version of adjusted national plan implementation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants; - To develop the second version of sections 3.4 and 5 of the draft National Plan adjusted implementation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants on the basis of suggestions and comments sent to the first edition; - Adjusted to draft "National Plan for implementation in Ukraine of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (NSW) (Sections 3.4 and 5) with the decisions taken by the Secretariat of the Stockholm Convention, as well as reviews and comments of central executive bodies of Ukraine.
