The work purpose is development of models and research of small EDSTS dynamics to determine the possibility of creation of inexpensive and effective satellite deorbit system from low earth orbits. Applied methods are methods of theoretical mechanics and space flight mechanics, methods of electrodynamics, methods of probability theory, methods of mathematical and computer modeling. Mathematical models of dynamics are developed and the analysis of EDSTS motion features into low earth orbits taking into account interaction with ionospheric plasma and variability of the aerodynamic moment is carried out. Algorithms are developed and probabilistic estimates of EDSTS survival depending on orbits parameters and cable design characteristics are obtained. The impact analysis of orbital motion parameters and EDSTS design characteristics on its functionality is carried out. The results of work will allow to determine the possibility of creation of inexpensive and effective satellite deorbit system from low earth orbits which is grounded on electrodynamic braking. The application fields are space researches, dynamics of space systems.
