The aim of the paper is to design scientific grounds for renovation of structural-and-functional organization and value of pasture aggregations on the south-east of Ukraine; the development of the grounds for creating multi-species fodder agrophytocoenosis of long term use, including medicinal herbs. As of the end of 2010, the collection of new and rare species of fodder plants and medicinal herbs is comprised of 417 samples, 169 species, 67 kinds of 55 genera and 10 families; the collection of medicinal herbs includes 384 samples, 357 species of 216 genera of 55 families, the collection of technical cultures - 142 samples, 64 species and 47 kinds of 47 genera and 15 families. The structural-and-functional organization of the region's pasture ecosystems has been classified and studied; the pasture ecosystems state have been assessed by monitoring the floristic characteristics. It has been stated that stable pasture ecosystems depends on conservation of the plant aggregations' structure, which conditions the choice of conserving biodiversity and renovation of economic value. The implementation of five natural models of multi-species fodder agrophytocoenoses for renovation of the lands, damaged by pasturing, with various natural climate conditions has been proved perspective on the basis of studied structural-and-functional peculiarities of their development. The prospects of Betonica peraucta Klokov, Filipendula vulgaris Moench, Oenothera biennis L., Sanguisorba officinalis L. to be included into multi-species fodder agrophytocoenoses have been grounded. The feeding value, alelopathic properties, contents of the main acting agents of above-ground mass of these species have been studied, the peculiarities of their development while growing in two- or multi-component aggregations with feeding species of Poaceae and Fabaceae genera have been investigated. It has been grounded that the use of Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn., Carthamus tinctorius L. and Oenothera biennis L. for bio-diesel fuel production and that of Kitaibelia vitifolia Willd., Silphium perfoliatum L. and Sida hermophrodita Rusby for production of solid bio-fuel is perspective in conditions of south-east of Ukraine.
