The objects of the research are thermoelectric gradient heat flow meters. The purpose of the research is creation of thermoelectric gradient heat flow meters for measuring heat flows through heat-protection coatings and control of heat losses in heat-supply systems, from the surfaces of building walls and all kinds of technological equipment. Research methods include computer simulation and design of thermoelectric heat flow sensors, calculation methods, physics methods of experimental research, processing and analysis of the results obtained. Computer simulation has been used to study the thermal and operating conditions of heat flow sensors based on semiconductor materials with pronounced anisotropy of kinetic coefficients (Bi, CdSb) and multi-element heat flow sensors based on bismuth telluride (Bi2Tе3). A prototype of heat flow meter 8-channel heat flow and temperature meter-recorder VRTP-001 has been elaborated and manufactured with highly sensitive thermoelectric heat flow sensors based on semiconductor materials. In its engineering and economical performance, the device in given temperature range compares well with the best foreign samples of heat flow meters and has no analogs in Ukraine. The results of the research work will be introduced at the scientific-production enterprise in the form of limited liability society "Altec-M".
