Goal of the first stage is to determine parameters of biological production of forest fitocenoses based on evaluation of energy potential of autumn leaf-litter, evaluate dynamics of leaf fall-off in pine and oak fitocenoses, choose indices of energy flow in ecosystems for next research execution. Fundamental goal of research work is creation of concept of evaluation of energy potential of ecosystem on the example of forest ecosystems and development of system of primary energy indices of natural ecosystem. Methods of research - field study of biological productivity of forest ecosystems and analytical approaches to acquired data. In order to determine energy characteristics of forest fitocenoses we used data our researches and article analysis in which data on biological productivity of forests was included.
