The object of exploration is the production processes for nanocarbon materials which can be used as antifrictional addition agents to oils. Research method is a physical experiment in laboratory conditions; research of carbon nanomaterials by the methods of X-ray phase and element analysis, tribotechnical trials of nanocarbon materials. For the first time an electrodischarge technological complex of continuous electrodischarge treatment of liquid hydrocarbons used to obtain carbon nanomaterials is developed. As a result of electrodischarge treatment of organic fluids which belong to different classes of organic compounds, diamond-like and graphite-like, and also diamond-and-graphite nano-additives to oils are gained. Modification of oil И-20А by graphite-like carbon and carbon of mixed type hybridization is accompanied by wear hardness increase of oxide ceramic approximately in 9 times at the decrease of friction coefficient from 4 to 10 times. Essential increase of tribotechnical properties of the oil modified by nanocarbon makes it a promising material for friction knots, in particular, heavily loaded knots, and for other requirements of mechanical engineering. Electrodischarge method was used to gain diamond-and-graphite nano-additives being efficient modifyers at making of lubricants with increased tribotechnical performances for different fields of industry.
