Krymskyi Institute of Oriental Studies of NAS of Ukraine, Crimean Branch popup.description2 The purpose of the work was to investigate the influence of Christian religion on ethno-cultural processes in Crimea in the medieval period; study of cult monuments that reflect the role of Christianity as a powerful factor of cultural and ideological integration of poly-ethnic population of the Northern Black Sea Coast. Within the frames of performing this theme researches in scientific organizations of Crimea and Russia were undertaken. Archaeological evidence of Christianization and the influence of Christian religion on spiritual and material cultures of local population were studied in museum funds; materials and documents on the history of research of Christian monuments in Crimea - in libraries and archives. The results of scientific research are reflected in 10 publications and in 8 reports at international scientific conferences, including those abroad (Russia, Turkey). 5 articles were prepared for publication. The results of investigation will be used in further scientific developments as well as in preparation of popular science works and tutorials for high and higher educational establishments.
