The main purpose of this work is to research the ethno-confessional situation in Crimea at the end of XVIII - the beginning of XXI century, the problem of tolerance of the Crimean society in the historical retrospective and at the current stage, and to develop recommendations on taking practical measures to prevent aggravation of inter-confessional and interethnic situation in Crimea. Within the implementation of the research, there were conducted archive and bibliographical researches in Ukraine and Russia. A lot was done in the area of academic processing of various groups of sources and addition, formation and improvement of the recourse base.Within the implementation of the research, there were conducted archive and bibliographical researches in Ukraine and Russia. Тhe researchers worked on writing developed, tested, and implemented the training course "The Culture of Neighborliness" in educational establishments of AR of Crimea; conducted sociological surveys and monitoring of the "hostility language" in mass media, and co-organized more than 10 conferences and round tables related to the general topics of the research. The most important results of the survey were 2 books (31 p.p.). In addition, there were published 80 articles, presentations and outlines of presentations of main implementers (68 p.p.) in academic publications of Ukraine, Russia, Israel, and USA. Within the framework of the implementation of the research topic under the supervision of M. Aradzhyoni, there were developed 15 manuals and curriculum-methodical complexes for the course "The Culture of Neighborliness" (70 p.p.) that are currently implemented in various forms in the autonomy for formation of tolerance and "culture of peace" in more than 350 educational establishments (K-12). The results of conducted surveys became the topics for presentations and discussions at 94 symposia, conferences, meetings and round tables at regional, national, and international levels, and were presented as analytical notes and reports for authorities and administration bodies.
