Initial increase in electrical conductivity of the material in argon-hydrogen mix and following return after 3 h to initial level are caused by incomplete NiO reduction what is displayed on areas of unreduced material and following Ni coagulation. After reduction of ScCeSZ-75%NiO material in hydrogen the structure of Ni particles uniformly distributed in bulk material was formed. Biaxial bend strength of reduced ScCeSZ-50%NiO specimens is 12…15 MPa what is hygher by 30…50% comparing to ScCeSZ-65…75%NiO specimens. Thus, following fuel cell anode optimization is recommended to perform on the base of ScCeSZ-55…60% NiO ceramics. For metal-matrix powder materials which are recommended as substrate of fuel cell, it was established prevalence in strength for powder titanium alloys containing 5.4 and 8 wt.% Si. Strength of Ti-5.4Si alloy is 152 MPa, and Ti-4Al-8Si-5Zr - 147 MPa. Influence of thermal treatment of forged Ti-10.3Al-1.2Si-3Zr microturbine alloy on cyclic crack growth resistance has been analyzed. It was established that by quenching from b-region without additional tempering of the alloy 2 times increase of threshould stress intensity factor range can be reached at 20°С. It was shown that hydrogen causes increase in cyclic fracture toughness of the alloy by 10% at 20°С while at 700°С it decreases by 1,6 times.
