Aim - improving nutrition value of feed evaluation and establishing norms of optimal nutrition of quail meat breeds.Methods. -zootechnical, morfohistological, biochemical and statistical methods.Learning patterns of productive and functional traits in quail meat species in a systematic approach allowed to review the existing guidelines for rationing their feeding towards optimizing energy exchange levels, crude protein, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins A and B2. The use of feed with levels of exchange energy 1.34 and 1.09 MJ, 27 % crude protein, calcium - 1.0%, phosphorus - 0.8%, Vitamin A - 1267 IU / kg, riboflavin - 7.36 mg / kg to reach slaughter weight quails (150 g) aged 35 days, which is 2 weeks earlier than foreseen by current regulations (SOU 01.24-37-537:2006). The highest rates are observed bearing on the level of exchange energy 1.34 MJ and 24% crude protein.Application - poultry, feed industry.
