To construct a mathematical model of the rational placement of fire hydrants used the methods of mathematical modeling, geometric design, to develop modeling techniques for placement of fire hydrants - the methods of geometric modeling. As a result of carrying out scientific-research work proposed an approach to the definition of minimally acceptable number of fire hydrants and their locations. Developed algorithms and software reduces the time needed to obtain options for calculating the time-consuming to find the best placement of fire hydrants, improve productivity and quality of the results of design by automating and streamlining the design process.
