Aim of the work: study of the physical-chemical forms of the natural radionuclides of uranium-thorium series in the tailing dumps of the PChP.Methods of study: laser granulometry, agrochemical methods, methods of sequential extractions, radiochemical methods, alpha- and gamma-spectroscopy, method of atomic-adsorption spectroscopy, method of the thermodynamic modeling, method of the column experiments.Results: identified forms of the radionuclides of uranium-thorium series in the tailing dumps of the PChP, obtained values of the radionuclides distribution coefficients (Kd) and concentration of the heavy metals mobile forms along the vertical profiles in the tailing dumps.Field of application: radioecology, ecological safety.
