As a result of the Project fulfillment the prototype of quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) based gas analyzing sensory system of Electronic Nose (EN) type has been created. It consists of gas system (working cell and automated systems of probe injection, purification and gas pathway commutation), electronics and interface (RS-232) with PC. Original software for experiment control and data saving on PC was developed. Well-directed choice of the novel sensitive materials (calixarenes) and technical approaches of immobilization has been carried out. As a result of above, both sensitivity and selectivity were improved. R&D outcomes presented can be used under creation of various high-quality gas sensory systems.
