The use of compositions of systemic and contact insecticides for seed treatment contributes to the increase of insecticide efficiency by 22-28% against the complex of soil and surface pests of sugar beet seedlings as compared with the use of systemic insecticides alone. The best efficiency against phytophages is provided with mixture of the systemic insecticide Cruiser and the contact insecticide Force - it amounts to 78.4-81.2%. The application in the row during sowing of the granular insecticide Force, 1.5%, at the background of seed treatment with chemical preparations provides 100% protection of sugar beet stands from soil pests.
