SUMMARY. Report SRW 64 p., 62 fig., 17 references. Key words: plasma, plasma diagnostics, ion injectors, atomic injectors, ion-optics system, pre-focusing electrostatic lens, analyzer, alkali ions, Geodesic Acoustic Mode. Main tasks: Modernization of beam probe diagnostics with the aim of increasing the probing beam current and modernization of secondary ion beam detecting systems and more detailed plasma parameters measurements with these new systems on fusion devices in Ukraine, Russia and abroad. Development and manufacture of double slit detector module for energy analyzer with anti-ultraviolet irradiation defense and secondary electron suppression. Modernization of ion-optics systems on T-10 and TUMAN-3M tokamaks with the aim of increasing of high current probing beam stability and focusing in collaboration with Russian groups. Main results: During the project in 2008 were carried out two main works for diagnostic systems modernization. These systems must work at modern fusion devices with dense plasma. First - heavy ion beam probing injectors modernization and second - development of experimental light alkali ion injector with high beam density. 1. In first case the mathematical modeling and experimental investigations of new types of ion injectors with additional pre-focusing system was carried out. Experiments at test device in Kharkov shows that 3-electrode lens placed before accelerating tube can increase cesium beam current to 3,5 times in comparison with previous injector designs. 2. Development and the mathematical modeling of new 5-electrode ion-optics system for light ion injectors with high ion beam density. New test device for these injectors investigations was developed. Two designs of new type injectors were developed. First - for 30-35 keV beam energy and 6 mA ion current will be used for Uragan-2M (Kharkov) and TJ-II (Madrid). Second - for 15 mA and 70-100 keV beam energy will be used at large devices T-10 (Russia), JET (England), W-7X, ASDEX-U (Germany), etc. During 2009 were also two directions of diagnostic system modernization. These systems must work at modern fusion devices with dense plasma. The participation in mutual experiments was carried out. 1. Modernization of heavy ion injector on T-10 tokamak. The development and testing of new system for beam focusing remote control was carried out at test device in Kharkov. The same system was developed for T-10 tokamak (Moscow, Russia). With the help of this system the ability of remoute focusing control was obtained and ion beam current up to 200 µA with 250 keV beam energy was reached. This is 4 times more than in 2008. 2. Double slit detector unin with secondary emission suppression was developed, manufactured and installed to TUMAN-3M (S.-Petersberg) diagnostic analyzer. Mutual experiments on Geodesic Acoustic Modes (GAM) and Alfvenic plasma oscillations investigations were done.
