Objective of given work is subsequent theoretical research unsteady turbulent aerodynamic processes structure during flow round of vertical axis wind turbines rotors and their elements on the basis of incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. Results and their novelty. Program-methodical support for numerical simulation of flow around vertical-axis wind turbines rotors is improved of application of nonlinear generalized minimum residual method (GMRES) with ILU(0) preconditioner and new technology of the multiblock approach implementation. It is carried out the flow field analysis at a flow around of single and three-element profiles by incompressible liquid turbulent stream in a wide range of attack angles and Reynolds's numbers; physical features of flow structure at a flow of the multielement profile 30P30N are selected. Advantage turbulence model SALSA is shown at calculation of flows with the developed two-dimensional unsteady separation of a stream. The analysis of numerical simulation calculations results of single rotation blade unsteady flow and also Darrieus rotor with different quantity and geometrical parameters of blades has shown that viscous and dynamic effects play the important role by operation of a Darrieus rotor. Stages of origin, development and stall of vortex are selected at different positions of the blade on trajectories, the main torque moment forms on windward site of a the blade trajectory. Comparison of flow visualization pictures during wind turbine rotor operation on the basis of natural and computing experiments is carried out; features of a wind turbines rotor flow is analyzed. Dependences of wind turbine main aerodynamic, dynamic and power parameters on coefficients of tip speed ratio, solidity and Reynolds's numbers are determined. The main stages of vortex structure generation at a flow of Savonius and Darrieus rotors are selected. It is determined that static torque moment coefficient of a Savonius rotors greater, than for Darrieus rotors.
