The aim is to develop computational and experimental methods for studies of the electromagnetic interference in the secondary circuits to electric power facilities in simulated lightning effects. The paper presents the technical details and features new elements, construction and operation of secondary circuits, which are typical for power objects, such as power stations and substations. In particular, the design features, including circuit elements such as voltage and current transformers, as well as their secondary circuit, coupling capacitors, filters, connection, separation filters, coaxial cables. The mechanisms of electromagnetic effect on the secondary circuit in both normal and accident conditions of work, including in the case of a direct lightning strike to an item on the electricity facility. The calculated model (scheme) to determine the voltages and currents of electromagnetic interference in the secondary circuits caused by galvanic, capacitive and inductive coupling of primary and secondary circuits. Based on the analysis of the expression formulated the basic methods of reducing electromagnetic interference. Techniques of definition of interference in the secondary circuit for simulating impacts of direct lightning strikes, short circuits, switching processes with the use of certified systems, "ИК-1У", "ИКП-1У" and "КДЗ-1У". Given the order of calculation of electromagnetic interference voltages on results-studies using these measurement systems. Calculation and experimental methods for studying electromagnetic interference found their practical application in the examination of the electromagnetic environment of more than twenty to electric power facilities, including two nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
