The duration of processing pulses should not exceed several microseconds and, better, should be in nanosecond range. It was shown that treatment of gaseous substances can be also conducted under conditions of excessive pressure. In this case, permissible operating and breakdown field strength in the reactor increases. Experimental specimen of coaxial PCD-reactor that can work in conditions of excessive pressure of 1.5 atmosphere was developed and manufactured for these experiments. PCD-reactor of parallelepiped form was also developed. In the reactors that were developed and used in the experiments, the electrodes that exhibit corona were made according to the invention patents №71940 of Ukraine and №2211800 of Russian Federation. The tentative successful results on purification of coke water from phenols and rhodanides were obtained in the experiments on effect of PCD on water surface. Experimental specimen of PCD-generator on the basis of pulsed transformer in Tesla circuit design and low-voltage transistor switch using IGBT was developed and manufactured according to the selected and checked engineering solutions. Experimental check of operating modes of the created generator has shown its high reliability and manufacturability. Gas mixture "air plus CO2" was treated in wet reactor with help of PCD with enlarged zone of ionization. Such a treatment results in substantial reduction of CO2 due to a whole number of plasma-chemical reactions in PCD as a consequence of water dissociation. On the basis of the experimental investigations of electromagnetic immunity of IGBT-transistors in the developed generator, it was found that permissible current overloads decrease with increase in pulse repetition frequency.
