Third place stable belongs to BPH in the structure of hospitalized morbidity. Over the years with varying intensity the share of operations on BPH increases in the structure of urban urologic surgery departments. The percentage of postoperative complications is within 13.0%-47.3% depending on the institution and years of observation. In the infectious-inflammatory complications accounted for 39.1%-45.0%, in macrohematuria and hematamponade of urinary bladder - 18.5%-21.7%. Found that out of BPH patients who need the planned surgical treatment the rate of infectivity with sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) pathogens is 53.5%. Dominant in the spectrum of the detected pathogens are Mollicutes (54,4%), Trichomonas (30.4%) and Chlamydia (15.2%).Tr. vaginalis (13,9%) dominates in prostate tissue, second place belongs Mollicutes (12,9%). In genital excreta Mollicutes were found in 34,6%, Tr. vaginalis - in 13,9% of patients. Proved that in 92,6% of infected patients with BPH showed discrepancy of research results of genital excreta and prostate tissue on STD pathogens. It was stated that the chronic inflammatory process in prostatic gland and urethra in BPH patients without signs of urinary infection statistically significantly enhanced the expressiveness of symptoms of the lower urinary tract. Proved that the infectivity with STD pathogens elevates 4 times the incidence of appearance of long-term or profuse macrohematuria after prostatectomy causing it in 18.5% of patients. Chronic inflammation in the prostate and/or urethra in patients with BPH significantly increases the incidence of acute pyelonephritis and wound abscess (10,6±3,8% vs. 0% in patients without inflammation). There was scientifically substantiated the necessity of perioperative identification of the indicated group of pathogens that allows to adequately plan the conservative and perform prophylactics of complications of surgical treatment for this category of patients.
