A number of alloys from the Mg-Ti-Ni system has been synthesised by ball milling in planetary mill; and character of equilibria in the system has been determined. A number of new pseudobinary intermetallic compounds on the basis of stabilized compounds of zirconium, titanium and hafnium have been synthesised, their hydrogen absorption properties have been studied. A number of Sm2Co17-xFex (x = 2, 4, 6, 8) with different content of "hard" and "soft" magnetic phases have been synthesised; the influence of hydrogen-vacuum treatment on changes of their phase-structure state has been studied.
